Thomas enjoyed our first photo session more than I realized, because he asked me if we could go and take some more. I told him, why not I always need more practice. We agreed on a place we thought would be a great location, but when we arrived we found it was

private property and neither of us felt like risking trespassing in such
a populated area.
So we set out to find something new, I drove us around for awhile looking, searching, and getting lost a few times. Eventually We found a
wheat field perfectly golden brown, which happened to be across the street from our original location....and decided this would make a great spot.
We walked around in the field for a bit trying to find just the right thickness of wheat around us and finally got to the photos.
The golden color of the wheat ended up making a great back drop, and I took some of my favorite photos to date in this session.
Thomas had worn a black sweater which ended up being a good contrast to the wheat, we messed around for a bit with the focus, aperture, and with the wheat around us. Over all it was a great time, it had a very different look than our last session, and I was exciting to go home and edit them. We made our way back to the car and then of course ended the day with frozen yogurt.
